Picking a Silence Limit
30, 60 or 90 days. How to choose how long a silence has to last before it means something.

Every vault names one beneficiary: a Solana address. It is where the vault goes if you go silent past the limit.
While the clock is running, the beneficiary can do nothing with the vault. There is nothing for them to sign and nothing to accept. They do not need to open the app.

“A beneficiary has nothing to sign and nothing to accept. The address waits.”

Once the limit has passed with no answer from you, the vault passes to that address: the asset and the amount you locked.
One vault has one beneficiary. To leave funds to several people, lock one vault for each of them. Each has its own clock.
Check the address before you lock. It cannot be edited afterwards. To change it, close the vault while the clock is still running and lock a new one.

Your dot asks if you are still here. Any answer resets the clock. Here is what an answer is, and what it is not.

From the lock to the handover: the four choices you make, the one thing you keep doing, and what happens if you stop.
